Reservation Terms
In order to check in, at least one registered occupant of the room must be 21 Years of Age with a valid govenment-issued ID and credit card to cover any potential incidental fees.
PET FRIENDLY POLICY - The Berkeley is a Pet-Friendly Hotel! Pets Must be Registered with the Hotel during your stay. A One-Time Fee of $100 + $25 per Day applies. Limits: One Pet Per Room
FAMILY & CHILD POLICY - At least one occupant must be 21+ and present photo ID on arrival in order to check in. Children under the age of 12 stay FREE with accompanying adult. Extra Adult Fees: $20 per person above 2 person room occupancy
PARKING - On-Site Parking is available. Please note our parking lot fills quickly and operates on a first come, first served basis. Street parking is available nearby. Learn more about Parking.
RESORT FEE- All reservations are subject to a nightly Resort Fee of $25 per room per night + taxes ($28.66) which includes:

- Unlimited premium high-speed Internet access for all devices
- Berkeley Outdoor Pool Access & Two pool towels per day (seasonal)
- Complimentary daily coffee & tea
- Two complimentary bottles of water daily

ARRIVAL + DEPARTURE - Check in begins at 4PM daily, check out time is 11AM. Early Arrival or Late Departure are subject to availability and fees, speak with Front Desk as needed.
ALCOHOL - Berkeley Hotel holds a New Jersey State Liquor License. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased from the hotel and outside beverages are prohibited.
NON-SMOKING HOTEL - Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel is a Non-Smoking property, and any rooms with evidence of smoking will be subject to deep cleaning fees starting from $250.

CANCELLATIONS - Our hotel offers flexible, free cancellation up to 7 days prior to your arrival when you book your reservation directly on our website. Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel must be notified of any cancellations by 4PM EST 7-days prior to arrival to avoid late cancellation fees, equal to 50% of the reservation value. (Single night reservations will be charged late cancellation fees for the full reservation room and tax value.)
Cancellation policies vary by rate type (for example, our Advance Purchase promotional rates are non-refundable & non-cancellable) so we recommend you confirm your specific reservation details.
NO SHOWS - Failure to show up for your reservation without notifying the hotel will result in a no-show fee equal to the entire reservation amount.
DEPOSITS - Once the free cancellation period for your reservation has passed (generally 7-days prior to your scheduled arrival date) a deposit for the amount of your first night's room and tax fees will be posted to the credit card provided to guarantee your reservation. Reservations without a valid payment method will be subject to cancellation. Your method of payment can be changed upon arrival at the hotel, should you wish to use an alternate credit card or split charges.
Advance Purchase reservations are non-refundable, non-cancelable, and will be charged to the provided credit card in full immediately after booking.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise notices, all references to the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel include ‘Berkeley Hotel’, ‘Berkeley Oceanfront’ and ‘Berkeley’.
